About Highland:

Highland Charter receives $500,000 grant to expand it's facility.

Highland Charter Public School is a College Preparatory charter school that serves kindergarten through second grade students and their families from throughout Gaston County. Our goal is to place each child on a successful path that will lead him/her to graduating from high school and attaining a college degreee. The CoreKnowledge curriculum combined with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study provides a strong instructional program. Students enjoy uninterrupted small group instruction daily, focusing on mathematics, reading, writing, spelling, literature, fine arts, science, history and geography.
